Stretch Therapy Workshop – Moving with Grace and Ease

A busy snowy Sunday: I took a 1+ hour drive to central Massachusetts and taught a mini Stretch Therapy workshop for Stretch Therapy Boston. Thanks, Sharon, my former student who convinced her yoga studio to hold the workshop. The studio owner, Jean, was wonderful and made it happen. The workshop went very well, and the students worked hard. Not only was the workshop today completely booked, we added a second workshop next week, and it’s also fully booked. People want to move with grace and ease!

After the class, Sharon was very kind and hosted the lunch at her home. Not only was the food great, the conversation was fun as usual with her, Dennis, and Kyle. Dennis was nice enough to share his mustache period with me as a reference for my own experiment. 😉

I then drove to my old town of Lancaster/Clinton and hung out with Melanie, a former student when I taught the Stretch Therapy class in town. It’s great to catch up with her over some tea from France. Her husband is from France originally. It feels like back in France whenever I visit them, with some French going on here and there.

Now I am home watching the Super Bowl. I missed the first hour, but I didn’t miss too much… 😉

Watching 2014 US Figure Skating Championship in Boston

Although I have been skating for about 16 years, I have never attended and watch a live completion before. 2014 US Figure Skating Championship was held in Boston this January. Because of the Olympics year and they would select which skaters will represent USA, it’s a good competition to attend[...]

Holiday break – JFK library, outdoor skating, and a Nespresso machine

I took a break during the Christmas and the New Year weeks. I went for a visit at the JFK Library in Boston where I have been hoping to check it out. The exhibit was very interesting. Got to learn the history of his presidency from the beginning to the unfortunate end. The architecture of […][...]

Holiday season with holiday activities

This year I decided to contribute to a Toys for Joys event for kids. Each person was responsible for bringing 3 gifts for 3 different age groups of kids when he/she attended a gala. I ordered mine online but due to the snow storm, two of them couldn’t be shipped on time for the event. [&hellip[...]

Being a responsible homeowner, with skilled friends :)

When I came back from the trip to NYC, I found out that a couple of pieces of my bamboo floor were discoloring and cracking near the refrigerator. It turned out that for some reasons, the water leaked into them. Doug came to rescue and checked it out, while my friend Greg stopping by and […][...]

Kajitsu – a memorable Japanese restaurant in NYC

I went to the restaurant Kajitsu for dinner when I visited New York City recently. They offer the Shojin cuisine, which is  a type of vegetarian cooking that originates in Zen Buddhism. It is one of the best meal I have ever had. I went for the 9-course meal. I will let the pictures speak […[...]
