I made a trip to Portland, Oregon for an Intel conference. It was great to reconnect some people that I know but haven’t met for a while. On Tuesday night, Intel arranged an event for all the participants. Intel reserved the Rose Quarter, where the NBA team Trail Blazers plays. In addition to dinner, the cheerleaders of the Trail Blazers were there for photo opportunity – sorry, I don’t have any pictures with them! 🙂 Intel also invited will.i.am, the lead of the pop music group Black Eye Peas to do a Q&A before dinner. He has been a partner with Intel for a while. After dinner, will.i.am did a private party and DJ’ed for us. He is pretty sharp during the Q&A. And boy, he knows how to mix music! We had a great time with the music and the light show. It’s absolutely a highlight during the conference!
