Christmas week

I was falling asleep on the floor in front of fire place on Christmas eve. It’s kind of peaceful. On Christmas day, I made some waffles for breakfast with maple syrup. Yum!

I decided to get a game for my iPad, just to see how good it is. I picked a puzzle like game called Machinarium. I found the picture is really cute, and the music is very relaxing. The game is sort of solving problems and sort of adventure. It’s interesting. Again, the graphs are very animated – let me post some screen shoots here.

I went to Sharon’s place for the Christmas dinner. Thanks for inviting me! Sharon’s sons Darren and Kyle were good company as usual. The roast beef was very tasty as well as the vegetables. I mentioned that Sharon spent some time slicing each string bean in half for the fancy string bean with mushrooms. It was very good. I also enjoyed the conversation with them. That was a peaceful and pleasant Christmas day.

Since I don’t have a Christmas tree this year, I got a picture from Markus in Germany. He took a picture of the Christmas tree in his mom’s place. I thought its neat. Let me also share it in this post. The day after Christmas was uneventful, but somehow busy. I did some errands around the house and went to gym. The day went by quickly. Especially after I soaked in the hot tub, I was extremely relax. Well, there are still things on my to-do this for this week. One thing at a time!

Two weeks ago, I went to a concert at the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, MA. St. Petersburg Men’s Ensemble sang some Russian sacred and folk songs. I bought a CD from them and it was fantastic. Let me share this song here – I thought it is beautiful. If you enjoy it, you can find out more about them at  http://sfcrook.com/steve_project/index.html.
