I took a break during the Christmas and the New Year weeks. I went for a visit at the JFK Library in Boston where I have been hoping to check it out. The exhibit was very interesting. Got to learn the history of his presidency from the beginning to the unfortunate end. The architecture of the building is intriguing. With the American flag hanging inside the glass hall, it’s simply beautiful.
My friends Doug and Sonya hosted an outdoor skating party. Since I have never skated outdoor, I joined in to see how it feel. They cleaned a good area of the ice at the surface of the pond behind their house. Although it’s bumpy, it’s a lot of fun skating on a pond outdoor. The weather was a bit warm so the ice was softer. I couldn’t do too many tricks on ice. It’s still fun to skate outdoor on a pond the very first time!
A little gift to myself: a Nespresso machine. I am not a coffee drinker but I do enjoy a nice and warm cappuccino now and then. This machine not makes great espresso, it also produces nice foamy milk. By the way, it looks pretty good on the kitchen counter too. It’s wonderful to enjoy a cup of cappuccino in front of fire place on a cold night.
