Jinpachi Japanese restaurant in LA

Figured I should have something for dinner since it will be a long flight from LA to Fiji, and Sydney. Found this wonderful Japanese restaurant Jinpachi in West Hollywood. The dinner was delicious and beautiful. It’s not a big place. The chief made my favorite Chirashi although it’s not on the menu. It’s fresh seafood and vegetables on a bed of rice. The Agedashi tofu was also great. It’s made with their home made sesame tofu, which is absolutely soft and silky. Now I am full and sleepy! 🙂

Chirashi is also my favorite. Jinpachi’s chirashi looks so good and I believe you made a best choice in LA.

Looks yummy, Justin. Good foodie start to your trip.
I’m just back from Wellfleet. Was able to get some sea bass just before the season ended on the Cape plus had my usual Wellfleet oysters on the halfshell.
Best regards on your haul over the Pacific.
