Staying in Serengeti National Park

Boy, what an experience! We went to the national park and camped in the wild. We could hear them around us. A small group of us went for an evening game watching, to look for eyes in the dark. Zebra, havana, were around us. We also did lots of game watching. Whatever we can find in the beautiful field. Let me just share some pics with you!

Serengeti! What a place in my dream and you are there! I am much interested in this park especially to the great migration.
The Australian hat is quite good in Africa.

Gosh, it really looks pristine. I like the picture of the elephant. Will you get to see Rhino’s?

PS: Took a trip to Lancaster Wed. night to check the mail and make sure there wasn’t damage from the hurricane. Everything is fine!

Thanks Dennis. No, that’s the only one we didn’t see out of the big 5. The wind was too strong that they didn’t like it.

Love these photos! First off, you look amazing in al the photos. I really liked the elephant close-up and the two trees with reflection in the water, the desert, and the last one of the trees and plains in the distance!!! What great photos for a lifetime!!

Justin, It looks the same as the day I left it. Hopefully it will stay that way for generations to come. Did you get a chance to meet any of the Massai warriors while there?

Hey Doug, thanks for saying hello! Well, Massai village these days are commercialized. Since Intrepid, the travel company I used is supporting sustainable travel, we didn’t visit any of these villages. Especially, some kids dancing in those village would skip school. My trip leader is from the Massai tribute, so I trust his judgment. I didn’t miss anything!

The scenery is incredible here. I love watching the stars here. I even saw a long shooting star one night. It’s amazing.
