I decided to go to Bonnie Raitt’s concert last Saturday evening. I bought the ticket just a couple of days before the concert. There were only 4 or 5 single tickets left. Wow. What a wonderful evening. Marvis Staples opened the concert with incredible Gospel songs. Bonnie Raitt was just amazing. “Angel from Montgomery” brought goose bumps to me. Her first encore song “I can’t make you love me” brought tears to my eyes. The whole pavilion was completely silent to hear her new interpretation of this song. She sang all the songs I like, old and new. What a great way to spend a Saturday evening in Boston on a summer day. I thought I would be tired after my skating practice on Saturday afternoon. I felt completely satisfied and recharged. Go to hear Bonnie Raitt if you are lucky enough to have her visit your city!
