Decorated my office room

The office room at my 2nd floor is a bit empty. I decided to make it more presentable. I thought hanging pictures on the tension wires would be neat. While I was installing the tension wires, I realized that there were several visible holes on the wall. I also made a couple of extra holes when I was using the drill to install the tension wires… Oh, well. It made sense that I should patch the holes and paint it over. My friend Doug came over and showed me how to patch the holes with putty. After I sanded it and painted it with the color of the interior wall, the color doesn’t match! My friend Jeff reminded me that the paint in the room may be faded because it was painted since 1998, when the house was built. That’s why the color doesn’t match. My choice would be painting the whole room over. Thanks Jeff for helping me paint the room. I made some stripes in the room to make the room more alive. With the green color (the color is called organic garden), I thought it looks more cheery. At the end, I thought the room looks nice. What do you think?

I also managed to paint the corners of my blackboard in the hallway on my own. They were plain white originally. Adding some colors does make the blackboard pop. I like it! That’s enough of painting for this year. 🙂
