Heading to Tanzania

The plan for today is packing and heading to Tanzania with the truck. There will be a quick shopping trip to get some missing items. I was reminded that I should buy some toilet paper, which I didn’t think of. Leaving from the staring hotel at 7:15am. It will be a whole day drive crossing the boarder to Arusha, Tanzania. Oh, the meal last night, ostrich meat balls were good, crocodile meat was fishy but good, camel meat was tasty but very chewy, and the ox balls were muddy – I can live with out the ox balls. 🙂

    Justin,

FYI: Vermont suffered a lot of flood damage; many roads out; Brattleboro got hit really hard ;( And many covered bridges were washed out.

Parts of Western Mass. were hit hard, too. Although Wendell was just heavy rain and some strong wind (on my side of the mountain at least). Shelburne Falls flooded badly and parts of Northampton are being evacuated because of the cresting CT river.

There are still many folk without electricity scattered throughout the state.

Fortunately, Lancaster is not near major rivers.

How cool is it that you are in Africa!??!!? Don’t get eaten by a lion, please! 🙂

I am fine, thanks. No damage at all at my place. I think because I’m on the leeward side of the mountain.
