I got some time to reflect the trip in Africa, while sitting at a cafe in Berlin. Let me share my top 10 memorable moments with you. What do you think, my fellow Africa travelers? 🙂

#10 – Ate the ox balls on the first day in Africa. It didn’t taste right…
#9 – Ordered a Mojito and drank some of it. Okay, just a little of it. Hanna drank most of it!
#8 – Found my iPhone after I thought I lost it in the mountain!
#7 – Saw a big, long shooting star at the camp in the Serengeti national park. That was amazing!
#6 – Invited and danced with the birthday girl Laura at a local bar. Somebody has to do it for George! This only happens once every… Hm… Never happened before! That was the longest 2 minute of my life. 🙂
#5 – Marty got the finger shower from Toni and Kirsten. Marty’s face was so comical as soon as he realized what he said – he made the comment that Toni could jump rope with the rope passed around at dinner time, after Toni got injured from playing with the kids at the Amani house. I hope Toni will recover soon!
#4 – Witnessed Ryan’s proposal to Krista while parasailing. Congrats to them!
#3 – Brandon asked Kababa (the cook in Africa) how was his website. I told Brandon one morning that Kababa is wearing a t-shirt with his website link on it, to promote his catering service. I felt so bad that Brandon actually believe me… 🙂
#2 – Patrick (the trip leader) staged a fake night game watching. Someone scared the crowd following Patrick with a loud noise. And… Someone pulled the chair off when Patrick returned and tried to sit on a chair at the camp fire. That was great!
#1 – Riding the truck with everyone to the next destination. There is something beautiful about heading to a new place together, and trusting our life in Walter’s hand (our driver in Africa). Thank you all for the wonderful experience!
