Justin's Journey

I decided to take the Thanksgiving week off. It has been pretty busy at work. I used my award miles from the American Airlines and booked the flight last Saturday. And flied to Curaçao the next day! When the travel bug hits, there is no escape. 🙂

I was very lucky to be placed in the first class for my flight to Miami and the flight to Curaçao. They feed you real food in the first class on the real china! The leg room to the seat in front of me is big. I was so spoiled. I can see some beautiful ocean on my way to Curaçao from the plane. Although it took me some effort to be picked up by the airport transfer to the hotel, I checked in without too much trouble. The hotel is a quiet and modern facility. The beach is a couple of minutes from the hotel. It’s too late to jump into water but the sun set was beautiful.

Dinner time! I needed a good email. In the near by Hilton, they had the Caribbean BBQ dinner. I went for it and had a nice meal: roasted pig, fish, sausages, beef, and desserts. It’s very nice to sit outside under the stars. The weather is warm and a little humid. It actually feels pretty good. I look forward to checking out the Willemstad, the city of the island.
